Thoughts_

Vicky and I met up to discuss thoughts on the book, and things we needed to know to move forward with the brief. We had both looked at layout examples and at the book they wanted to base the design off.

The book_

- How much writing will there be for each student?
- Suggest for students to have more than one double page spread due to layout ideas.
- Are they still doing interviews with students? How many?
- Whats going in the window on the cover? Larger image or one that fits in the window?

Second meeting_

- deadline for both 29th May - but ideally get it done sooner
- 27th April is when they are having a photo shoot so will have a lot of content after then
- Sections of stock, rather than split up into parts
- Some students will have more than 2 double spreads, some will only have 1 due to work loads
- Meet every thursday lunch time - weekly

We asked for a list of all students, along with contact info, blurbs and experience.

For next week, layout ideas.

______

Janie gathered some photos and work from students, and wanted to go through this with us, so we popped into the office to talk through the ideas she had etc. She showed us example of students work, for example Carmel, and gave us examples of what she would like to be a full bleed image across the double page spread and other photos that would work better smaller. She also provided us with all the names and blurb info for the students so that we could make a start on layout.
